Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles That Sound Like They Could Be Crayola Crayon Colors

Hi everyone! Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. The weekly topics are posted well in advance and the idea is to find ten books that match the topic. The topic for this week is: book titles that sound like they could be Crayola crayon colours.

This meme seemed kind of daunting when I first heard about it, but as soon as I saw this week’s topic I was in. I spent an absurd amount of time scrolling through Goodreads looking at book titles, but it was enjoyable. I also spent a lot of time looking at all of the existing Crayola colours and for fun I’m including five of the wackiest ones at the end of this post.

With the exception of Slay by Brittney Morris, I have’t read any of the books on this list. Yolk and Burnt Sugar caught my attention recently and I’m hoping I’ll have time to read them later this year. I’ve read Jean Rhys before and I love the way Wide Sargasso Sea sounds so I had to include it even though it might seem a little out of place. But honestly, I think almost anything goes when it comes to Crayola names, you’ll see what I mean later.
