A popular book or series that you didn’t like

The Night Circus wasn’t the book for me. I had high hopes because of how popular it was and it started off well, but then it totally lost me eventually. If you’re interested in reading my review click here.

A popular book or series everyone hates but you love

I’m not sure what books out there are hated by everyone, so I did a Google search. According to the first result, Gone Girl is on the list of top 25 most hated books. *Gasps* how is that possible?! I thought it was brilliant, twisted, and all-around a perfect thriller.

An otp you did not like

I can’t really think of anything for this. I didn’t read The Kissing Booth Series but I did watch the movies and I didn’t like Elle and Noah together. I really hope she ends up with Lee in the third movie.

A popular book genre you hardly reach for

Considering the books I’ve read this year, I’d say fantasy is a popular genre that I don’t reach for too much. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I prefer other genres more. 

A popular author you cannot get into

Stephen King, I read his memoir and thought it was great, but I learned the hard way after reading Misery that the rest of his books are NOT for me.

A Popular Book/Series you have no interest in reading

Since I started book blogging I have been seeing Sarah J Maas’ books non-stop. I’m sorry for saying this, but I’m not interested in reading A Court of Thorns and Roses. 

A Popular Character you didn’t like

This is a tough one. I usually like most of the popular characters I come across. For example, Tris Prior, Katniss Everdeen, Hazel Grace, etc. If I have to pick I’ll go with Bella Swan because of how obsessed she was with Edward. I’m not going to pretend like I wasn’t a fan of the series when I was a teen though.
